It is currently 1:22 AM, and I feel led to create a blog on what seeds are and how to plant them. I do not have the greenest thumb in the garden, but through experience and depth I feel confident to be able to help you in this way.
The first thing that I will say about seeds, is that they will take time to grow. Not an hour's time, not half a day's time, not a day's time, and not even a week's time.. Planting a seed will take the type of time you can not measure visibility; but with faith.
Next, what type of seed are you planting? Yes, we have physical needs / wants while we are here on Earth - but what is it's underlying truth? Why do you want to start that business? Why do you want to go back to school? Why do you want a relationship or to be married? Why do you want children? Holding still, being honest and truthful with God, and listening for an answer can help clarify you while you answer these questions.
Galatians 6:8
"For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life."
The way that we greet others, the way we hold conversations, and the way we conduct ourselves during challenges and trials are all examples of when seeds are planted. Whether intentional or natural, it is important and wise to recognize when we are planting seeds in others. We can plant a sense peace or we can activate an introduction to destruction with the seeds that we plant. Being aware of this can rearrange how you navigate your walk and talk in this life.
Mathew 17:20
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Lastly, I want to encourage you continually plant a seed of faith. Whether this seed is implanted in yourself or you were called to plant this in a fellow brother or sister; planting seeds of faith can make a world of a difference. The mountains Jesus was referring to was not literal mountains (as I assumed for 26 years) but the mountains of challenges in life. Car broke down? Plant the faith of even a mustard seed in your heart. Ask God, "God, please move this mountain for me. I believe in Your and your Word. In the name of Jesus, Amen." Marinate on it and believe it to be true and God will keep his promise to you.
I pray you have enjoyed this read and I especially pray that you have successfully learned How To Plant A Seed.
